On Tuesday, June 23rd, Delegate Steve Schuh presented sixty-nine Anne Arundel County students with a Maryland House of Delegates Scholarship Award for the 2009-2010 academic year. Family members and friends also attended the dinner celebration to encourage the awardees in their pursuit of continuing their education. Stacey S. Heckel, Executive Director of the Anne Arundel Community College Foundation, served as the guest speaker for the evening and spoke on the importance of going the extra degree to achieve success (www.212movie.com).
